The Seen Method™ — Founding Beta

A 10-week small-group programme for becoming more able to express yourself.

The Seen Method™ has grown out of my 10-day course on Insight Timer, which more than 600 people have now experienced. That course was the starting point — an introduction to the emotional and nervous-system patterns that can make being seen feel difficult. The Seen Method™ is the next step: a deeper, more experiential container where we can take that work further, together.

Over 10 weeks, we’ll move beyond simply understanding why you hide, shrink or hold back, and create space to explore, practise and work with those patterns in a small, supportive group.

This is for you if…

  • You know you have more to express, but find yourself hiding, shrinking or holding back. You have ideas, opinions, talents or ambitions, but when it comes to putting yourself forward, something stops you.

  • You struggle with being visible at work. Maybe you dread presentations, stay quiet in meetings, hesitate to share your ideas, find it difficult to talk about your achievements, or keep putting yourself off going for the promotion, opportunity or role you actually want.

  • You want to be more visible in your relationships too. You’re tired of taking what’s on offer, keeping the peace or putting other people’s needs first. You want to be able to say what you want, ask for what you need, express your feelings and let yourself take up more space.

  • You overthink when it matters. You have something you want to say in the meeting, but by the time you’ve worked out how to say it, the moment has passed.

  • You’re ready to stop making yourself smaller to feel safe. Perhaps you’ve learned to stay under the radar, not draw attention to yourself, avoid being “too much”, or keep your ambitions and successes to yourself. You can see the pattern — but knowing why you do it hasn’t necessarily changed it.

  • You’re willing to turn up and do the work. The Seen Method™ is for people who are ready to explore what’s underneath their visibility patterns, are able to join live every week and are open to being in a supportive group.

This isn't for you if…

  • You’re looking for a self-led course. The group is part of the work. You’ll be exploring, tapping, sharing and being witnessed alongside other people, week after week.

  • You can’t commit to the live sessions. This isn’t simply a library of teachings and recordings to work through in your own time. The live small-group experience is where much of the change happens.

  • You’re looking for a “how to be a better public speaker” course. We’re not teaching presentation skills, performance techniques or how to appear more confident. We’re looking at what happens internally when it’s time to be seen.

  • You want to stay in your head and analyse your way out of the problem. Understanding your patterns can be useful, but The Seen Method is experiential. You’ll be invited to notice what happens in your body, work with the emotional response and practise doing things differently.

  • You’re looking for someone else to make you feel confident before you take action. You don’t need to arrive feeling fearless. There are no formal introductions or expectations to share before you’re ready — we’ll gently get to know each other as the weeks unfold. But you do need to be willing to participate, experiment with vulnerability and allow yourself to be seen within this safe, supportive space.

What happens over the 10 weeks?

What does it mean to be visible?

For some people, being watched, heard, noticed, judged or evaluated creates a genuine nervous-system response. They may understand intellectually that they're safe, while their body is behaving as though visibility carries danger.

We shall explore:

  • fear of being noticed

  • exposure and vulnerability

  • anxiety around attention

  • what happens in the body when people are watching

  • feeling exposed, scrutinised or under pressure

  • creating enough internal safety to stay present

  • the difference between knowing you're safe and feeling safe enough

This is where perfectionism, overthinking and fear of mistakes come in.

We ask the question, “How am I protecting myself from being seen?”

We start to explore and tap our way through the self-sabotaging patterns and try to understand them a little more.

We’re not looking to become: “I don't care what people think.”

It's more: “People can have opinions about me, and I can still be safe.”

And: “I can be seen before I've got everything right.”

Explore self protection.

We explore attachment and our relationships.

“What will happen if I'm becoming more able to speak, share and take up space?”

Being seen can threaten belonging.

  • If I speak up, someone might disagree

  • If I succeed, I might outgrow people

  • If I express what I really think, someone might reject me

  • If I stop pleasing people, they might be disappointed

  • If I show more of myself, I might discover that people don't like what they see.

Speaking up. Sharing an opinion. Asking for something. Saying what you actually think. Putting your work out there. Being heard.

Importantly, this isn't about becoming a louder person. It's about having more access to your own voice.

Belonging.

Who am I when I'm not performing for other people?

If you've spent years adapting yourself to avoid judgement, you can eventually lose touch with what you actually think, want, feel and believe.

  • You may know how to be acceptable

  • You may know how to be impressive

  • You may know how to be useful.

But do you know how to be yourself?

We shall work on building self-trust so that you don't have to abandon yourself when you're being seen.

Identity & self-trust.

This is where we integrate what we’ve worked through.

This isn’t: "I've done the emotional work, therefore I am now confident."

It’s more: "I've developed more capacity to stay connected to myself while I do the thing."

Because ultimately, The Seen Method™ isn't about feeling comfortable all the time.

  • There may still be nerves

  • There may still be a racing heart before speaking

  • There may still be a wobble before pressing publish

  • There may still be a moment of wondering what someone thinks.

But the difference we shall be working towards is that those feelings don't have to automatically make you disappear and hide.

Moving away from: "I need to feel confident before I put myself out there."

To: "I can feel nervous and still let myself be seen."

Embodying visibility.

Because this is a pilot round where I’ll gather feedback and refine the flow, I am inviting you to join as a Founding Beta Member at exactly 50% off the full price of £540.

How it works

This isn't an open-enrolment course. I'm keeping the group small, so there's enough space for individual reflection, conversation and support.

And let's be honest — we're here to work on becoming more comfortable being visible, so who wants to do that in a huge group? ;)
