How I help
My work combines Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) with principles from energy psychology to help release emotional patterns that talking alone cannot always reach.
Rather than focusing solely on the mind, this approach works with the body and nervous system, allowing stored stress and protective responses to soften safely and naturally. Sessions are collaborative, client-led, and tailored to your individual pace.

About me
Hi, I’m Ruth, a Clinical EFT Practitioner and Energy Psychology Coach. I’m passionate about supporting people in gently releasing the emotional patterns that keep them feeling stuck, so they can move forward with greater ease and authenticity.
Before stepping into this work, I spent many years in the creative industry as a Producer, both on the corporate side at Nike and with smaller creative studios and music artists. My own healing journey through anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and grief led me to discover the profound impact of nervous-system-based approaches. This experience now informs the compassionate and grounded way I support my clients.
I understand how it feels to appear capable on the outside while quietly struggling within. My intention is to provide a calm, supportive space where you can explore change safely and at your own pace.

Sometimes losing a loved one can come with so many more emotions, as well as deep grief. There's often sadness, guilt, and anger for actions, behaviours or words said or unsaid. Having lost my own Father at 20 years old, I understand the many layers of grief and the unfolding experience that can change with time.

You may have experienced years of emotional or physical abuse. Or something more specific such as a car accident, redundancy, an attack or receiving bad news. All of these can leave a lasting imprint often leading to negative self-perceptions and limiting beliefs. EFT can provide a powerful approach to releasing traumatic memories and beliefs that may be holding individuals back from healing and moving forward.
I often hear clients say ‘But there are hundreds of times this happened! How will we ever work through them all?”. With Clinical EFT there is what we call ‘the generalisation effect’, if we can knock a few specific events out, the mind recognises the similarities and the whole thing can collapse. Bringing incredible emotional freedom from something that may have lasted years.

While we sometimes feel fear when we are in true danger, it’s also common to feel fear when we are under no real threat. We can feel fear when we need to speak in public, when we are at the doctor’s office, when we get on an airplane, or when we encounter a spider in our bathroom, for example. Sometimes, we develop fears so intense that they can become debilitating, changing how we experience life, reducing opportunities and creating barriers.
EFT can gently and effectively break down the layers to release phobias and fears, sometimes relief can be found in just one session. A deep dive of 3-4 sessions however can remove fears for good.

What Is EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often known as “tapping”, is an evidence-based approach within Energy Psychology that combines gentle acupoint stimulation with focused emotional processing.
Over 300 peer-reviewed clinical trials now demonstrate statistically significant improvements across anxiety, depression, PTSD, phobias, pain, cravings, and stress-related conditions.
When you tap on acupoints, the physical stimulation generates measurable electrochemical signals. These signals travel through the nervous system and connective tissue to the brain, where they modulate activity in stress-related regions such as the amygdala and prefrontal cortex.
In real terms, this means the body shifts out of threat mode while you are thinking about the issue.
Research shows tapping is associated with:
Reduced cortisol (stress hormone)
Improved heart rate variability
Lower blood pressure
Changes in gene expression linked to emotional regulation and neuroplasticity
The most powerful piece is what happens next. When a distressing memory or limiting belief is activated while the nervous system is calm, the brain updates its original emotional learning. This process — known as memory reconsolidation — creates lasting change rather than temporary coping.
Matrix Reimprinting
Is a therapy that combines Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with visualisation to help people process and release the effects of past trauma and stress. It's rooted in the idea that past negative experiences are stored in our energy fields as Energetic Consciousness Holograms (ECHOs).
It works effectively and simply:
Identify the traumatic memory: Acknowledge the trauma and release its emotional charge
Identify the negative belief: Identify the negative belief that was formed or strengthened during the trauma
Create new beliefs: Create new positive images, outcomes, and beliefs about the event
Reimprint the new beliefs: Reimprint these new beliefs in the mind and body
Matrix Reimprinting can help people to transform their lives in a positive way, understand what's been holding them back and resolve blocks so that they can move forward. It was developed in 2007 and is a gentle, safe and very effective process when guided by a qualified practitioner.
Reiki Healing
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique to balance the body's energy fields, promote healing and well-being and reduce stress and anxiety. Reiki is based on the idea that all people have energy fields that can become blocked or low, causing physical, mental, and emotional issues. Reiki is sometimes used as a palliative or supportive therapy for people with cancer. It can also be used to support other alternative therapy treatments.
