EFT can provide a powerful approach to releasing traumatic memories and beliefs that may be holding individuals back from healing and moving forward.

With Clinical EFT there is what we call ‘the generalisation effect’, if we can knock a few specific events out, the mind recognises the similarities and the whole thing can collapse. While we sometimes feel fear when we are in true danger, it’s also common to feel fear when we are under no real threat. We can feel fear when we need to speak in public, when we are at the doctor’s office, when we get on an airplane, or when we encounter a spider in our bathroom, for example. Sometimes, we develop fears so intense that they can become debilitating, changing how we experience life, reducing opportunities and creating barriers.
EFT can gently and effectively break down the layers to release phobias and fears, sometimes relief can be found in just one session. A deep dive of 3-4 sessions however can remove fears for good.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
I’m a qualified Clinical EFT Practitioner, trained in an evidence-based approach to reducing stress, rewiring emotional responses, and fostering resilience.
Clinical EFT (the version used in over 120 published research studies) is a scientifically supported technique that combines cognitive therapies with somatic stimulation — specifically, tapping on acupoints on the face and body while focusing on emotional or psychological issues.
EFT is best described as a psycho-physiological stress reduction method. It draws on well-established psychological principles such as exposure and cognitive reframing, while also engaging the body’s stress response system.
There is a building list of clinical trial research, including meta analyses and systematic reviews. Comparison trials show Clinical EFT to be as effective as gold standard therapy approaches (such as CBT and EMDR), but often it achieves the same outcomes in less time (sessions).
What happens during EFT?
You gently tap on specific points on the face and body. These points have been shown to have four times lower electrical resistance than surrounding skin and align with known acupuncture points.
At the same time, you bring to mind a difficult memory, belief, or emotion.
This process sends calming signals to the amygdala — the brain’s fear centre — helping to deactivate the fight-flight-freeze response and rewire how the body and brain react to stress.
Matrix Reimprinting
Is a therapy that combines Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with visualisation to help people process and release the effects of past trauma and stress. It's rooted in the idea that past negative experiences are stored in our energy fields as Energetic Consciousness Holograms (ECHOs).
It works effectively and simply:
Identify the traumatic memory: Acknowledge the trauma and release its emotional charge
Identify the negative belief: Identify the negative belief that was formed or strengthened during the trauma
Create new beliefs: Create new positive images, outcomes, and beliefs about the event
Reimprint the new beliefs: Reimprint these new beliefs in the mind and body
Matrix Reimprinting can help people to transform their lives in a positive way, understand what's been holding them back and resolve blocks so that they can move forward. It was developed in 2007 and is a gentle, safe and very effective process when guided by a qualified practitioner.
Reiki Healing
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique to balance the body's energy fields, promote healing and well-being and reduce stress and anxiety. Reiki is based on the idea that all people have energy fields that can become blocked or low, causing physical, mental, and emotional issues. Reiki is sometimes used as a palliative or supportive therapy for people with cancer. It can also be used to support other alternative therapy treatments.
