About me

Hi, I’m Ruth.

I’m a Clinical EFT Practitioner, Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner, and Reiki II Healer. I work with high-functioning, self-aware people who feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, anxiety, and self-doubt—especially when, on the surface, life looks like it should be working.

Most of the people I work with already understand themselves. They’ve done the thinking, the reading, the reflecting. But they’re still caught in the same internal responses—hesitation, pressure, holding back, not following through.

That’s where this work comes in.

I combine evidence-based EFT (tapping) with nervous system regulation and somatic awareness to help clear the emotional patterns driving those responses. This isn’t about analysing things further or pushing for change. It’s about working with your system, so change actually becomes possible—and sustainable.

Before this, I spent years in the creative industry as a Producer, including at Nike, working with studios and artists in high-pressure environments. I understand what it’s like to be capable, driven, and outwardly “fine”—while internally dealing with stress, doubt, or burnout.

My own experience with anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and grief is what led me here. It’s also why I work the way I do: grounded, honest, and focused on real change—not surface-level fixes.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often known as “tapping”, is an evidence-based approach within energy psychology that combines gentle acupoint stimulation with focused emotional processing.

Research shows EFT can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress, trauma, and low mood.

By tapping on specific points on the body while bringing attention to a thought, feeling, or memory, the nervous system begins to settle. This allows the brain to update how it responds—so patterns that once felt automatic can start to shift. In simple terms, it helps your system feel safe enough to let go of what it no longer needs to hold.

Studies have also linked EFT to reduced cortisol levels, improved emotional regulation, and changes in how the brain processes stress.

Matrix Reimprinting

Matrix Reimprinting builds on EFT by gently working with past experiences that may still be influencing how you feel today.

Using a combination of tapping and guided visualisation, we can revisit these moments safely, reduce their emotional intensity, and begin to create new, more supportive beliefs.

This allows the past to feel resolved, rather than something that continues to shape your present.

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle energy-based practice that supports relaxation, balance, and overall well-being.

It works with the body’s natural energy systems to help reduce stress and support emotional and physical healing, and can be used alongside other therapeutic approaches.
